Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers: Fixtures and Results
First and Second Round Matches Announced
Concacaf, the governing body for soccer in North and Central America and the Caribbean, has released the schedule for the First and Second Round matches of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
First Round
The First Round will be played from March 24-30, 2023, and will feature the 30 lowest-ranked teams in the Concacaf region. The teams will be divided into six groups of five, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the Second Round.
Second Round
The Second Round will be played from June 13-21, 2023, and will feature the 12 teams that advanced from the First Round, as well as the four highest-ranked teams in the Concacaf region: Mexico, the United States, Costa Rica, and Jamaica. The teams will be divided into three groups of four, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the Final Round.
Final Round
The Final Round will be played from September 2023 to March 2026, and will feature the six teams that advanced from the Second Round. The teams will play each other home and away, and the top three teams will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Dates and Draws
The dates for the First, Second, and Final Rounds are as follows:
- First Round: March 24-30, 2023
- Second Round: June 13-21, 2023
- Final Round: September 2023 to March 2026
The draw for the First and Second Rounds will be held on April 19, 2023, in Miami, Florida.
