The Central Coast Mariners have made history by becoming the first Australian club to win the AFC Cup. The Mariners defeated Adelaide United 2-0 in the Final, played at the Central Coast Stadium on Sunday, May 5, 2024.
The Mariners took the lead in the 25th minute through a stunning free-kick from Daniel De Silva. The Mariners doubled their lead in the 65th minute when Marco Ureña headed home a cross from Jacob Farrell.
