Nev Schulman Breaks His Neck in Bike Accident
MTV star recovering from spinal fracture
Nev Schulman, host of MTV's "Catfish: The TV Show," is recovering from a bike accident that left him with a stable spinal fracture. Schulman shared the news on Instagram on Aug. 10, saying that he feels "lucky to be alive" after the crash.
Schulman said he was riding his bike when he hit a pothole and was thrown from the bike. He landed on his head and neck, and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
"I'm so grateful to be alive," Schulman wrote on Instagram. "I have a stable spinal fracture, but I'm expected to make a full recovery."
Schulman thanked his doctors and nurses for their care, and said he is looking forward to getting back to work on "Catfish."
