Al Hilal Wins Saudi Professional League Title for a Record 18th Time

Al Hilal Saudi Football Club clinched the Saudi Professional League (SPL) title for a record 18th time after defeating Al-Batin 2-1 in a thrilling match on Monday.
With the victory, Al Hilal extended its lead at the top of the league table to an unassailable 10 points, with just two matches remaining in the season.
The match was a hard-fought affair, with Al-Batin taking the lead in the first half through a stunning strike from midfielder Carlos Strandberg.
However, Al Hilal showed their championship mettle and fought back in the second half. Salem Al-Dawsari equalized for the visitors in the 65th minute, and substitute Moussa Marega scored the winning goal just five minutes later.
The victory sparked wild celebrations among Al Hilal players and fans. The club's captain, Salman Al-Faraj, lifted the SPL trophy amid a deafening roar from the crowd.
"This is an incredible feeling," said Al-Faraj. "To win the league title for a record 18th time is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone at the club."
Al Hilal's success in the SPL is a continuation of their dominance in Saudi Arabian football. The club has now won the league title more than any other team in the country's history.
In addition to their SPL triumph, Al Hilal also won the Saudi Super Cup earlier this season. The club is now on course for a potential treble, as they will face Al-Faisaly in the final of the King's Cup on June 2.
